Endicott POA | Dam Improvements

The Endicott Lake Dam was originally constructed in 1913 to expand the area of a mill pond impounded in the 1860’s. The lake formed by the dam has a surface area of approximately 15 acres for aesthetic and recreational purposes in a residential development. Because of dam safety deficiencies identified by the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ), Fishbeck was hired to design the rehabilitation of the principal and emergency spillways, assist the dam owner in preparation of a joint permit application to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and MDEQ, and prepare an operations, maintenance and inspection (OM&I) manual and an emergency action plan (EAP).2
