MSU | Asset Management Plan - Sanitary and Stormwater Systems

FTCH completed an asset management plan for Michigan State University’s sanitary and stormwater systems as part of their asset management program. FTCH performed condition assessments on approximately 2,800 manholes, 73 outfall inspections, and 206,000 feet of sewer. The project also included flow monitoring on the sanitary and stormwater systems, capacity analysis of the sanitary system, hydraulic modeling of the storm system, establishing criticality of assets, level of service goals, improving O&M strategies, and developing a system-wide CIP. In addition, FTCH helped the University update their flood response plan and implement field procedures in GIS.
